- Michel de Hey (EC Records) NL Michel de Hey has been a major force in the international techno and tech house scene since the early nineties. His DJ career kicked off with his first release 'Break' entering the US Billboard top ten. From then on he has developed his funky techno sound to what it is today. His famous weekly club night "Future..." is still remembered as one off the most vibrant tech house and techno nights the city of Rotterdam has seen so far. Michel is one of the people who took responsibility for dance music and its direction on the local Rotterdam scene. With his talent both as a producer and as a DJ, Michel opened the door to techno and tech house for generations of clubbers.
