"Kicking of 2015 in class, Pathway Traxx brings you this delicious (or should we say Deelicious) dose of Disco and raw house grooves. Following our well honoured tradition, we have worked hard to unearth some fresh up and coming talent, and they definitely step up to the mark with this EP. The A side is brought to you by fellow Leeds producer and long time friend, Deelicious! Having had a string of successful releases and collaborations under various different alias' this guy shows us his mature side with 2 sublime cuts of chunky disco reworks. Half the day is gone blends tight crispy drums with a teasing selections of filtered vocal samples and groovy base riffs. This highly infectious groove is complemented perfectly by the hair raising horn selection later in the track. A personal favourite of ours! Hercules follows much in the footsteps of Half the day, with a punchy drums and seductive tale of dry keys and rolling soul vocals which is sure to get the goosebumps out! The B-side drifts slightly more into the housey side of life as we welcome Pathway Traxx newcomer, Italian born Gioele Giacopelli AKA, JWL. Born and raised on music this passionate house producer shows us his ability to create silky smooth house cuts. You'd be excused for getting lost in the music as JWL entwines bumpy baselines with airy pads and soft keys. And last but by no means least, as always we've saved the muscle for the B2 slot. Also from Italy, this guy has put a tough and chunky twist on the original. The track takes a sharp turn half way through and piles on the pressure with ringing cymbals, a ruthless bumpy baseline and drums strong enough to rattle your back teeth out! We hope you enjoy. Remember if you like it BUY THE VINYL!"
