Next in the series of Recon Light releases comes Reverse Cowgirl, a peak time oriented release, from Danilo Tomic. The title track starts off with a tight, pumping bass groove while the pitch shifting theme slows builds the whole track to a complete noise-infused madness. Already a proven track for those eclectic, peak time moments. Although the remix starts a bit calmer compared to the original, it carefully builds up, focusing on the recreated chord pattern that perfectly complements the pitch shifting main theme. After the noise-filled breaks, this remix shows as a viable alternative to the madness that is the original track. Brass Thing starts with a infectious brass theme that permeates the whole track. Building the percussion groove with layered chords and chopped vocals, the track makes way for the huge break. With epic instrumentation and screaming siren-like effects, the track lives up to its hype. The remix builds itself around the reconstructed orchestration and looped theme. With a dramatic arrangement, it soon explodes into a mass of siren screams and driving hihat loops. Soon it goes even further, with gliding high-pitched synths and reverberating orchestration, complementing the original perfectly.
