Silent Killer is easily one of the most brutal drum n bass artists of our time. Bludgeoning reeses like no other artist can construct, beat structures influenced by knockout power hip hop, and orchestral sweeps decorate his productions. On the A he flies solo, and on the B he teams up with fellow Brooklynite Breaker. Founder of Guerilla, collaborator of Submerged, Infiltrata, and others, Breaker is an emerging artist, showing his talents on the B side alongside Silent Killer. These two Ohmwreckers and Konkrete Jungle NYC residents put together the power on this 12 inch. Endure takes its name from the content of the Notorious B.I.G. sample used in the track. Pockets broke as hell, another rock to sell telling the story, over a shranz style build up, into an infectious bouncing beat with a powerful bassline attached. I know how it feel to wake up, fucked up and so will the crowd after you drop the dizzying second build up into a more straighter floor focused break. The Brigade comes charging in with signature Silent Killer orchestral accents and vocal samples. A hype forming kick drum leadin slams into a deep, grungy Brooklyn alley beatdown of tune, crowd shouts and skillfully crafted white noise synths raise up as the track rolls out. Catching play from Dieselboy, Ewun, and others.
