On its 10 year anniversary, CSM Records is set to re-launch after a two year pause. John Selways minimal label, now being run out of Berlin with German distribution, CSM shows its roots with a re-release of the CSM 01 track Solas while pointing to the future with remixes from new talent. The unclassifiable vanguard of electronic music, New Yorker John Selway presents the sound that used to be called minimal techno from a decade past. Bringing the track to 2006 is Dave Turov, NYC-expat-turned-Berliner-DJ who has been making waves touring Europe and with his M- party series in Berlin. Second on remix duties is the Brooklynite Tim Xavier who has garnered worldwide acclaim for his tough minimal sound on his LTD-400 series, with Tony Rohr as Afternoon Coffee Boys with massive releases on Clink and Cocoon, and with Camea on Klickhaus. The original stands on its own as a testimony of the sound that evolved into what it is today. The record was mastered and cut at Tim's very own Manmade Mastering in Brooklyn, NY.
