Sicknote and Dissect are welcomed to the label via their collaborative effort 'Reset It'. Opening on a sparkling pad, the track builds through layers of vocals and breaks before descending into thunderous junglist mayhem. Hypnotic melodies and rave stabs join the fray to complete the old-school aesthetic, while maintaining the London-based producers' signature dancefloor feel. Dispensing with anything close to subtlety, Mike and Lewis opt for brute force over intricate break edits to present a classic Summertime anthem. For the flip, Total Science are tasked with remix duties. Joining forces with Detrimental for the first time, the legendary duo deliver bending the original sounds around their trademark snarling bass lines to devastating effect. Pushing into much deeper territory, the track rolls out with a furious energy and closes out the second drop with a hook that would feel right at home in a dark basement at 4am. With a side for any mood, this very limited 12' marks the return of Detrimental Audio after a year-long hiatus.
