The always in form Freak n Chic continue their early-2009 bombardment with a superb EP from newcomer Djebali. Dropping just in time for Miami, the Lax EP looks set tobe another winner for the Paris-based imprint as it oozes quality across all four of its, percussive house tracks. Starting with the urgent, Chicago vibes of Dont Be Forced, the Lax EP features tracks for every point in a set. While the aforementioned cut is peak-time, the sinister California is pure afterhours with its spooky synths and heavy funk bass drops.
