Following the success of A New Day, the first release on footnotes, LSB is back with a second 4 tracker that's receiving support throughout the scene including Calibre Lenzman, Marky amongst many others. The EP provides a continuation of Lukes now familiar style of blending musical elements and melancholy with a dancefloor energy. Potshot is highly anticipated having features heavily in a number of DJ's sets this year. The release introduces us to Kinross, a collective consisting of producers, musicians, vocalists and DJ's, create soulful drum and bass through live instruments, eastern influences, and positivity immanent in their sound and lyrics. Luke and Kinross collaborate on the title track Roots. The release also features freehand artwork from Bradley James, the artwork is inspired by Luke's musical roots, intertwined by Ivy, the name of luke's daughter.
