This is the second white-label release from NYC/LDN based vinyl imprint Grand Ancestor. This Peace Man Time 12" brandishes two reggae classics spanning over 25 years updated by Dutch dons The Illuminated. First up is Junior Delgado's yearning solemn ballad "Tonight" where added weight is placed on the bottom end and a switch in focus is made from the original's funkier guitars to the version's more reflective instrumentation. Next up, we hit Leroy Mafia's "Peace Man Time" where the rework is more of a subtle approach to the drums and general production sheen.
