Oblack, the record label from Los Pastores, welcomes 2014 according to orthodox code of big sounds, with the release of a great EP internationally signed by the Italian duo Neverdogs, which also includes a remix from French producer Psykoloco. The pair, formed by Florentine's Tommy Paone and Marco De Gregorio open this EP with 'Week', a track that goes from the smartest house to the most trendy tech, it incorporates a bubbly groove, and a nice, elegant touch of soulful vocals, all work well with a slight 90's element. The intrinsec tempo is appropiate, high class making it recognizable for the most underground dance floors. The 'Week' remix produced by Psykoloco, respects its underground soul, but raising some bpm's to adapt the track to its late night surroundings. The hint of sticky funk, the synthetic bass and the chopped shady voices are, with no doubt, what really makes the difference. This remix takes the track to another space less determined than its original version, giving special interest, very visible and well alicated. The second track from Neverdogs- 'Seven Days' follows the path of 'Week' with a very clear house line, but increasing the temperature and bpm's of the EP with a light manoeuvre to a very sugestive and danceable sound, without ever losing its smile, it has a fresh touch until the sun rises. Its percussive development is efective, almost martial, and is what defines everything about 'Seven Days'. It shows warmth and very good vibes. Finally, 'Space in my Mind' a kind of tribute to all those times deejing and enjoying the infamous Ibizan nightlife. Neverdogs portraits all those summer memories from probably the best place on earth to lose yourself dancing, leaving a sofisticated imprint from a brief journey to the epicentre of world clubbing. It follows a similar path to the previous tracks, giving some serious cohesion to the EP. With this new international release, Oblack, the label from Los Pastores, promise us a 2014 to dream and dance to.
