Redhot hitman Excision meets Paradise Lost labelheads The SubDivision on this longawaited deep, dark funk release, the Hypothermic EP. Hypothermic brings gangsta vocal licks together with the baddest of basslines and slick percussion which combine to sickening effect to devastate the dancefloor. Battered on dubplate by DJs across the spectrum, from Headhunter to Djunya to SPL and the list goes on. Flipside contains the equally sick, but totally different Hypothermic RMX, from the likes of Bristols finest, Komonazmuk, who together with Player 1 mutates the tune into a feast of warped and spaced out basslines which give a different feeling but the same effect, devastation. This one has been cut on dub by dubstep dons throughout the UK and you will no doubt have heard this one at your favorite venue. Winding up the release is the ultradark Titanium, which features heavy guitar riffs and bleak pads, making you want to punch your mother in the stomach. One for the hardcore and headstrong. Quality here, don't sleep on this.
