RSB return and welcome a new artist to the fold. Having analysed in some depth the currently stale techno market, and noting the rapturous response to RSB3’s ‘Advanced Bossa’ style, they decided that it was in everyone’s interest to investigate another new genre – ‘Bleepcore’! Hek (aka Jon Heckle / Jon Demonic) hails from Liverpool, and in the words of that annoying advert, his debut does exactly what it says on the tin…minimal bleeping techno, with killer production and arrangement that will surely find favour with many DJs. Not wanting to feel left out, Female reworks the track into a subtle builder, using filtered stabs and cleverly timed drops and percussive breaks to create the tension that will send dancefloors into a frenzy. Did I mention trancey? I hope not…what I meant to say was hypnotic…
